Sanitation

The City of New Boston contracts with Waste Management for solid waste collection. All residental and commercial customers within the city limits are required to have garbage collection.

Most trash and debris, when properly bundled and/or contained properly, can be disposed of at curbside with your regular garbage service days. 

The City's Garbage Pickup Schedule is as Follows:

• Elm Street and East of Elm Street is Thursday.
• West of Elm Street is Friday.

BULK PICKUP IS AVAILABLE TO RESIDENTS INSIDE CITY LIMITS QUARTERLY IN JANUARY, APRIL, JULY AND OCTOBER.

Items that cannot be picked up are as follows:

• construction/building materials
• hazardous items: paint, batteries, oil
• carpet / rugs
• tires
• big back TV's
• yard waste, limbs, leaves

Tree Limbs, Brush & Oversized Vegetation Waste

The City of New Boston contracts with a third party for the collection and disposal of tree limbs, brush and oversized vegetation.
