New Customers
New customers applying
for water utility services with the City of New Boston will need the following documentation to
open an account:
- Two forms of identification issued in the United States
- A copy of
your lease, naming the applicant
as the leasee, if you are renting the property for
which you are applying for service.
- A copy of your property tax statement if you are the owner of
the property for which you are requesting service.
- Required $100 deposit with a non-refundable $40 service charge.
Payment Options
You can pay your utility bill via cash, check,
cashier's check, money order, bank draft or through Nexbillpay.
Water Rates - Effective October 15, 2023
Commercial
- Base water
rate - $20.30 for the first 1,500 gls. Each additional 1,000
gls. $12.65
- Base sewer
rate - $12.75 for the first 3,500 gls. Each additional 1,000 gls. $8.04
Residential
- Base water rate - $20.30 for the first 1,500 gls. Each additional 1,000 gls. $12.65
- Base sewer
rate - $12.75 for the first 3,500 gls. Each additional 1,000 gls. $8.04
BILLING
- Utility billing cycle is from the
15th of the previous
month to the 15th of the current month. Bills are mailed on the
last working day of each month.
- All bills must be paid by the close of business
on the 15th of each
month to avoid a 10% late fee.
- Any bill not
paid by close of business on the 25th of each month will result in a $20 delinquent fee being assessed to the customer account
and services being suspended. Services will be restored when the bill and the
delinquent fee is paid in full.
